
AQUAENT: Innovazione in acquacoltura per le piccole e medie imprese
The Aquaent: Zero waste and sustainability solutions in the Blue Economy project managed by the University of Turin as part of the EIT Food activities involves the realization of a series of targeted workshops with the aim of recognizing the new technological advances in the circular economy and allowing people to become contributors to the blue economy revolution.
This Workshop, organized in collaboration with the University of Bari Aldo Moro and the Impact Hub Siracusa as the Italian EIT Food Hub, aims to inspire young food producers to strengthen their ability to adapt to new solutions in the circular economy, provide knowledge of current technological developments with a zero waste approach and a sustainable use of natural resources.
The recipients are operators from the entire aquaculture and regional fishing chain, entrepreneurs in the early stages of their professional development in related sectors, entrepreneurs from all over the agri-food sector as well as university students, recent graduates and young researchers who will deal with experts and “inspirational” subjects, with a series of thematic round tables and interventions by companies, professionals and start-ups in the sector.
