The AGAPE consortium wishes you and the aquaculture community a Happy New Year 2022. This year has been declared by the United Nations General Assembly the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA 2022). IYAFA 2022 aims to highlight the importance of small-scale artisanal fisheries and aquaculture to our food systems, livelihoods, culture and the environment; to increase global understanding and action to support small-scale artisanal fish folks; and to enhance their participation in policy and decision-making that shape their everyday lives.
