About Milcoop
Milcoop’s role is to develop the AGAPE Collaborative Platform, which will be focused on new approaches to collaboration, information and on innovative paths toward the transition to a circular economy in the aquaculture sector according to SDGs Europe 2030 Agenda. For growing businesses, intelligent and integrated content services, repository federation, and cloud availability are now driving differentiation and revolution in an established market. In this rapidly changing digital age, with an independent culture of business performance, teams rely on the best team collaboration software for their daily business functions. To this aim, Agape brings for the first time to EU aquaculture market, education, consumers and research ecosystems, a new model of collaborative platform that merges tools useful for the transition from the ordinary aquaculture market to a circular economy aquaculture market.
AGAPE is composed of two different set of services, one connected with the exchanging of information, ideas and establishing collaboration with interested parties such as customers, end users, industries, suppliers, business partners, potential competitors.
The role of Milcoop in the project
The scope of Milcoop’s task is the creation of innovative and collaborative processes that enable knowledge transfer sharing across Europe, particularly addressing SMEs’ needs and/or local community involvement.
About FOCOS
FOCOS – Food Consulting Strategically is a team of experts in scientific communication. This includes disseminating scientific information to different audiences at various levels. Audiences range from consumers to factory workers, management staff and executives with varying levels of knowledge on a given subject area. As such, FOCOS is contracted by numerous companies and international not-for-profit organizations to generate content that is understood at the different audience levels.
The role of FOCOS in the project
For the AGAPE project, this entails securing a web domain, design the website, including the creation of a logo, and logo-font if appropriate, build, with the input from the partners, the content of the webpage, promote the website and its content on social media channels, jointly with the partners. Also, one or more webinars, where the partners present their developments and the benefits of AGAPE will be created. FOCOS will design and build the webinar on an appropriate platform and to promote the activity.
About FEDERPESCA
The National Federation of Fishing Companies (FEDERPESCA), established in 1961 and since then a member of CONFINDUSTRIA, associates, represents and protects Italian shipowners and companies in the fishing sector in the Public Administration, Parliament and the European Union. FEDERPESCA is part of the National Fisheries Observatory, the Bilateral Fisheries Authority (E.BI.PESCA) and the Supplementary Assistance Fund of the National Health Service (FIS Pesca) for the management of the regulatory institutions provided for by the C.C.N.L of Fishing.
The role of FEDERPESCA in the project
Federpesca’s task is to engage a team of experts in International development, politics, pedagogy and content production who work for global education and sustainable development. The objective of the task is to develop a set of training modules on the path of the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development and to offer a series of in-depth analyzes, accompanied by multimedia educational contents, interactive exercises and references to the European aquaculture sector.
About the Gargano Pesca Group
The Gargano Pesca Group (GPG) was founded in 1997 and consists of 6 companies operating in the Blue Economy sector: integrated multi-trophic aquaculture, shellfish farming, production and processing of microalgae, organic fish farm and educational. With AGAPE we are in the position to foster a smooth transition to the new realities of the future world of work by assisting in the development of skills policies and systems linked to labour market needs; anticipating and building competencies for the jobs of the future ; and, supporting the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups in skills development.
The role of the Gargano Pesca Group in the project
GPG’s role in the project is to integrate the “skills service solution”, a web based solution developed on an IA Algorithm (Quantum Labour Analysis) into the Agape, by matching jobs and applicants based on skills. The “skills service solution” is the the roadmap to supporting workers and businesses better understand the skills they have today, the skills they will need tomorrow, and the pathway to remaining relevant and competitive in a time of rapid change and disruption. Leveraging real-time aquaculture labour market intelligence helps to understand the capabilities of European workforce in the sector, compares those against industry benchmarks, identifies emerging and future skills, addresses gaps with “build, borrow, buy or bot” strategies; ensures an agile and evolving workforce plan that adapts to the aquaculture circular economy ordinary and business needs.
About the University of the Peloponnese
The University of the Peloponnese was established in 2000 and accepted its first students in 2002. It has its headquarters in Tripoli and is developed at the level of integrated schools in the capitals of the prefectures of Peloponnese. The headquarters of the University of the Peloponnese is in Tripoli and it comprises of nine (9) Schools and twenty two (22) Departments located in the five capitals of Peloponnese Region (Tripolis, Corinth, Nafplion, Sparta, Kalamata, Patras). It offers studies in all cycles of learning: undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral as well as Life Long Learning activities. The aim of the establishment and operation of the University of the Peloponnese is the creative contribution to the development of higher education in the Greek region, with high quality standards corresponding to the content of studies, research and teaching in the requirements of a modern University with national, European and international scope. The organization offers postgraduate training to graduates in health or food sciences and engineering or other related scientific specializations.
The role of the University of the Peloponnese in the project
The role in the project is to define the taxonomy of existing skills and those that will be generated by the needs of the labor market, and by the innovation generated in the transition to a modern aquaculture sector centered on the circular economy and the 2030 SDGs.
